Building excellent social work services
This guide enables social work services to carry out self-evaluations. SWIA created it in partnership with colleagues in Changing Lives. We have also worked closely with volunteering local authorities in drafting and testing the materials and involved the Improvement Service. We intend that this guide will remain relevant as the structures for social work and social care scrutiny and regulation go through changes in the years ahead.
The Guide was formally launched on 11 February 2009.
