As Scotland's independent Social Work Inspection Agency, we aim to deliver rigorous inspections that will drive up standards and improve the quality of social work services across Scotland.
As a Government Agency, we operate independently and impartially. At the same time, we remain directly accountable to Scottish Ministers for the standards of our work.
Focusing on inspection and at arm's length from policy responsibilities, our job is to inspect all social work services in Scotland, and report publicly and to Parliament on the quality of these services, locally and nationally.
